Bell MR16 LED Bulbs
An MR16 GU5.3 bulb has two thin, straight pins spaced approximately 5.3mm apart. The models in this collection are intended for compatible 12V low-voltage installations and normally operate through a suitable transformer or LED driver.

Measure Enclosed Fittings
Check the bulb diameter and overall length, particularly when replacing a lamp inside an enclosed downlight or a fitting with a retaining ring.

What is the difference between a GU10 and an MR16 bulb?
A GU10 bulb has two widened pins and twists into a mains-voltage holder. MR16 commonly describes the reflector shape, but the low-voltage MR16 bulbs in this collection use a GU5.3 cap with two thin straight pins and require a compatible 12V supply.
Can I replace an MR16 bulb with a GU10 bulb?
Not as a direct bulb swap. GU10 and GU5.3 lampholders are different, and the lamps operate at different voltages. Changing the fitting or electrical supply should only be undertaken by a suitably qualified person.
Will a Bell MR16 LED work with my existing transformer?
It depends on the transformer. Some transformers designed for halogen lamps require a minimum load that a low-wattage LED may not meet. Check the transformer specifications and the compatibility information for the chosen bulb.
Which colour temperature should I choose?
Choose 2700K or 3000K for a warmer and more relaxed appearance, 4000K for a clean neutral light, or 6000K to 6500K when you prefer a cooler daylight-style effect.
Are all Bell GU10 bulbs dimmable?
No. The collection contains both dimmable and non-dimmable bulbs. Select a product specifically marked as dimmable and use it with a compatible LED dimmer.
Which beam angle is best for a GU10 spotlight?
A narrow 10° or 20° beam is useful for accent lighting, while 38° is a versatile choice for general spotlighting. Wider 60° or 100° beams spread light across a larger area.
