Automatic Dusk-to-Dawn Control for Outdoor Lighting

The Knightsbridge OSPCKIT photocell sensor switches connected lighting on as daylight fades and off as natural light returns. It provides a practical way to control garden, driveway and car park lighting without switching it manually each day.

Adjust the Light-Level Threshold

An adjustable 10–50 lux setting lets you choose the ambient brightness at which your lights activate. The sensor responds to light levels rather than movement, making it suitable for lighting that needs to remain illuminated during darker hours.

IP66 Protection and Practical Installation

The black polycarbonate housing offers IP66 protection for outdoor use. Supplied with a mounting bracket and two cable gland entries at the base, the unit accommodates incoming and outgoing wiring.

Check the Connected Lighting Load

The sensor has a maximum current rating of 10A, with separate load limits of 300W for LED lighting and 1,000W for incandescent lighting. Select the connected load according to its lamp type and the manufacturer’s instructions.
