The GE ConstantColor CMH35/MR16/UVC/930/GX10/WFL is a compact 35W ceramic metal halide reflector lamp designed to provide powerful, high-quality warm white illumination. This model has now been discontinued, making our remaining stock particularly useful for maintaining existing light fittings that require the original GE 88660 lamp.

Producing approximately 2,200 lumens, this compact MR16 lamp delivers a substantial amount of light for its size. Its 3000K warm white colour temperature creates a welcoming appearance, while its 90 CRI helps colours, finishes and displayed products appear natural and vibrant.

The lamp has a nominal 40° wide flood beam, providing a broader distribution of light than narrow spot versions. This makes it particularly suitable for retail displays, showrooms, hotels, restaurants, galleries and architectural lighting applications where both strong illumination and accurate colour rendering are important.

GE ConstantColor lamps combine the stability and efficiency associated with high-pressure sodium technology with the bright white light and colour quality of metal halide. The three-part ceramic arc-tube construction provides reliable performance and helps maintain consistent colour throughout the lamp’s operating life.

Important compatibility information

This is a ceramic metal halide discharge lamp and requires compatible 35W CMH control gear or ballast. It is not a standard mains-voltage GU10 lamp and must not be connected directly to a 230V supply.

Before ordering, please check that the existing lamp or fitting specifies 35W CMH, GX10 and 3000K. The 88660 wide flood version should not be confused with GE spot or narrower flood versions that use the same wattage and cap.
