Many standard warm-white LED bulbs are approximately 2700K. Selected Aztex lamps go considerably warmer, producing a softer amber-toned appearance designed to create atmosphere rather than crisp task lighting.
1800K
A deeply warm, candle-like colour suited to intimate hospitality spaces, feature lighting and highly decorative applications.
2200K
An extra-warm golden light that retains a little more versatility for lounges, dining areas, bedrooms, bars and restaurants.
Why CRI 90 matters
The Colour Rendering Index describes how naturally a light source reveals colours compared with a reference source. A CRI of 90 can help food, fabrics, timber, artwork and interior finishes appear richer and more faithful than they may under lower-CRI lighting.
This makes high colour rendering particularly useful in dining spaces, hospitality venues, boutiques and carefully designed residential rooms.
Clear glass or amber glass?
Clear glass gives the filament a crisp, defined appearance and works well where the internal design should be visible. Amber-tinted glass adds a stronger vintage character and makes the unlit bulb itself appear warmer.
Always use the stated Kelvin rating to judge the emitted light colour; the glass finish alone does not provide the full specification.
